The Waters Baby Dedication Ceremonies are a time of Promise, Prayer, and Gift Giving.
PROMISE – The church family promises the parents of the child that they will support this family as this baby grows. The church family promises to be of whatever assistance is needed to aid in the overall health of the child via prayer and friendship.
PRAYER – Clint, Lead Pastor, leads the church in a corporate prayer for the parents as they seek God’s direction to raise a healthy, independent, and God-loving child.
GIFT GIVING – The elders will present the family with a Christian heirloom commemorating the dedication day.
Clint will ask each family to come up to the front with him. He holds the child and tells the story of his or her little life. He explains the significance of the name and why the parents chose it. He talks about interesting facts about this child and the parents. It is a very organic and genuine experience for everyone. There’s absolutely no assembly line feel to it at all. You’re going to love it.
