Communion

Life is better when you keep the main thing the main thing. That’s exactly what Communion does for the believer. It is a precious opportunity for a Christian to fully focus or his or her mind and spirit on the price that Christ paid on the cross for our freedom.

At The Waters, Communion is a reverent and family friendly experience. We keep the mood in the room very reflective while we memorialize Christ’s death through the bread and juice. Communion is made available each Sunday before worship and during the invitation.

We encourage families to bring a Family Communion Glass to personalize their experience. This is just a special glass or goblet that you keep on hand for this special occasion and is shared with the entire family during communion. The communion elements include non-alcoholic grape juice and home made unleavened bread sweetened with honey. The communion experience is to be taken and shared with Christians. A non-Christian wouldn’t truly understand the purpose and meaning behind this supper. However, any child who hasn’t yet become a Christian is welcome and encouraged to come forward with his or her family and watch as the family takes communion together.

Our communion experience is heartfelt and interactive. It is designed to be a true memorial; one in which we strive never to forget all that Christ has done for us.
