The Waters Church

Waves is heading up a drive to provide meals for the Fleak family while Madison is in the hospital waiting for a heart transplant. The idea behind this is to have individual frozen meals for Tabitha and Austin to take to the hospital with them.  Very important: all meals must be gluten free. Click here for some gluten free meal ideas. There will be someone at the Fleak home every other Saturday from 12pm to 1pm to accept meals.  We would like to have 8-10 people signed up for each slot listed below (feel free to sign up for multiple weeks). When you sign up for a date, Melissa will let you know where to take the meals.

This family has been in our hearts and in our prayers for many weeks now.  Let’s make some waves and bless their socks off!

Clint will be presenting the seder meal which is also known as the Passover meal. If you have never seen this presentation you definitely need to come.

The service is this Friday at 6:00 p.m. at The Waters Church. Also come join us for dinner afterwards.

Easter this year will be a little different than usual.  We will be having 2 services on Easter.

9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

We will not have bible study on Easter however will resume with the Deep End Bible Study the following Sunday.

We truly believe the Easter Presentation will be a blessing to all that attend.  We hope to see you at one of the services.

We’ll be holding a new member’s class this Sunday, April the 29th, from 12:30 to 2:00 (right after church). Please use the form below to sign up. Childcare and lunch will be provided.

“Money isn’t everything in life, but it’s far ahead of whatever is in second place.” While not exactly true, money is important in our lives. Why is it that some Christians consider it unspiritual to be interested in money? The facts are that God did not intend us to live without money and He never commanded that we be poor. In fact, He gave us this wonderful tool to be used to further His kingdom. For the sake of the gospel and our own personal worship experience with God we need to learn how to manage money.

These sessions are intended to provide you with a “cliff notes” version of basic financial principles that you can apply in your life. When combined with prayer, biblical teaching and worship, these principles, properly applied, can be a tool to financial freedom. However, only God can provide a guarantee of success through His blessings.

The Common Sense Seminar will be 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 31st at The Waters Church. Lunch as well as child care will be provided.

PLACE is a program designed to help Christians find their “Place” within the ministry.  After becoming a member of The Waters church we ask that you attend a PLACE workshop.  It combines your unique personality profile with your particular skills, passions and life experiences to help identify the ways in which you can serve where you’ll be happiest, the most fulfilled and the most effective!The next PLACE retreat is scheduled for March 3rd and 4th .  It is a 2 day workshop held at Brad Graves’ house from 8:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. on Saturday then continuing after church on Sunday.
