What to expect with our music
At The Waters we aren’t all about new stuff. Sure we do some new stuff but that’s not the main goal. It’s more about what worked for the original church, way back in the two digit years. We do use relevant instruments, vocals and sound systems. But our approach is more about making moments for people to connect with God through music.
Since there are different types of people, we use different types of music. Some songs are seriously upbeat (you know, like how Heaven will probably sound), some are slower, some feel like southern rock, some feel more like a waltz.
We have an 8 member band made up of everything from electric guitars to drums as well as a 7 piece choir. Altogether they make up, Current. One thing is constant with Current, they always put their hearts into everything they do. We love our music and our music leaders. Sometimes we clap, whistle, cheer. Sometimes we lift our hands and even get down on our knees… but it’s always about connecting with the One we’re singing for. We hope you’ll come enjoy it with us.
Current takes the stage to lead us in worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Waters Worship Center. We hope you’ll come join us.
