My Story

I was born into a family that loved the Lord and raised me to understand the beauty of grace and truth. Jesus has called to me from a very young age. When I was in the first grade, I invited my teacher over so I could lead her in a worship service…and she came! In high school, I met and fell in love with my husband, Jordan. After graduating from A&M, we got married, joined The Waters Church for its opening, and then had three precious daughters. Around the time our daughters were  in school, I answered God’s call for me to go back to school as well, and graduated with a Masters of Divinity from The Bible Seminary in 2018. 

My Why

I believe that Jesus Christ is the answer to our every need. He is so worthy, so loving, and so beautiful, and it is my passion to let others experience the joy He brings. The only thing I love more than opening God’s Word and reading about His heart for His people is having the opportunity to share that with others. In my role as Executive Pastor, I also have the opportunity to work with some of the most humble, genuine people. It is a true privilege to watch the Lord move mightily in them and through them in their areas of calling. My hope for The Waters, and for Katy, is that each person we encounter would have the chance to see God’s goodness, His love, and His passion for them.
