My Story
The Lord diligently pursued and cared for me in many ways throughout my childhood, most tangibly in the introduction of a very special family who would take me to church to teach me about Jesus. Early on in adolescence I experienced tragedy. My husband, Roman, and I met as teens and were married in 1998. With God we have grown together, and our life continues to be a testament to His grace, perseverance, and love. I have spent many years of my adult life learning about true freedom in Christ and how to offer my entire life to Him for His purpose. Our three grown-up children also call The Waters Church their home. Service to others has been a common theme of my life for as long as I can remember, but it wasn't until we found The Waters Church that I realized God had much more in store for me. I began by volunteering in the Youth Ministry and transitioned into my current role as the Executive Director of the Grow Ministry. This role solidified my calling to enter the pastoral track and begin my education at The Bible Seminary.
My Why
My true calling is to walk in partnership with people as they become closer to Jesus. The Grow Ministry exists to facilitate and create personal growth opportunities for real people walking together towards a closer relationship with Jesus so that we mature as disciples of Christ. I am personally most motivated by the way Jesus modeled love to us through His own ministry and how His incredible love has radically changed me. I believe, at its core, that discipleship is all about relationships. At The Waters Church, in my role as the Executive Director of Grow, I get to walk alongside others dedicated to knowing God, realizing His love for us, and making Him known.
